How can I focus better when working from home?

Give work its own spot (not the bed), clear the desk, keep your phone in another room and turn off notifications. Working in timed blocks with real breaks, and stopping at a set time, helps too.

Why can I focus in a café but not at home?

A café has steady background noise, other people working and no chores or bed in sight, so fewer things pull you away. You can borrow some of that at home with a dedicated work spot, background sound or a body-doubling session with a friend.

Is willpower or environment more important for productivity?

Willpower runs out, while your surroundings work on you all day. Changing cues and friction, so good habits are easy and bad ones take effort, usually works better than just trying harder.
